DAVIDO
BET Awards 2014 “Best
International Act” winner, Davido could not contain his excitement as
BET hosted him and Best International Act 2013 winner/2014 BET
Experience performer Ice Prince to a lighthearted catch-up with the
media.
The upbeat event,
which was held at Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa’s
office in Ikoyi, Lagos, saw media treated to a luxurious breakfast as
they mingled with the BET awards returnees as well as VIMN Africa’s
Colette Otusheso, and many others.
Talking during the
media chat, Davido said, “When I was hanging out with the other nominees
before the awards in LA, I never thought I would win because I have
worked with almost everyone on that nomination list, and they are
amazing artists. The African category of the Best International Act was a
tough one so when I was announced as the winner, I was absolutely
stunned and elated!”
A congratulatory Ice
Prince also commented on Davido’s win. “I was really excited when I
heard them call Davido’s name… he is a really talented artist and it’s
encouraging to see African artists being recognized for their hard
work.”

Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Mafikizolo from South Africa, Sarkodie
